"I was really nervous sending my little boy to nursery as he has SEN needs and I was unfamiliar with the setting as I hadn't sent my older child there. Working in the teaching industry myself I have always been hyper-critical when it comes to choosing a setting for my children and for the families I work with. I have been overwhelmed by the care, love, and support both my son and myself have received. My son has settled into Little Wellies better than I could ever have hoped.
We are greeted at every session with a smile and a welcome greeting by all the staff. The senior leadership team has gone above and beyond to ensure my son is getting the right care put in place for his needs and I am assured every day when I see the big smile on his face when I see him.

"My little boy absolutely loves Little Wellies. After a negative start to nursery life in another nursery setting he was a little apprehensive to go. From the minute he did the look around he has fit perfectly into nursery. All the staff in his room are so lovely and caring. only the children's best interests at heart. They have a variety of different activities going on throughout the day and have day trips out to link with their learning. My son has a food intolerance and it is made very clear to the chef that he is not to have that food and it has always been carefully followed. The staff are fully trained and up to date with everything and keep parents up to date with any developments within the nursery as soon as possible. He is safe and can only be picked up by those on the approved list and with the correct password too. I honestly wish my son had been going here from the start of his nursery journey but I'm just so glad he'll finish his journey there. Highly recommend this setting."

"Best nursery in Bradford! My little boy has been part of the Little Wellies family for almost a year and wow I couldn't be happier! The progress she has made across all social and personal skills has been nothing shy of incredible all thanks to the friendly and caring staff. Every single Little Wellies staff member who takes such great care of my little son has helped shape him into the kindest, funniest, clever boy. He's so well cared for I never have to worry, he runs into nursery every day and that truly says so much. He's so happy to be there and he has a great group of friends in his room. The activities they take part in every day help build basic developmental skills such as colour recognition, fine motor skills, reading, messy play, every activity is well thought about and well organised. “We have been so happy with how our boys have settled into nursery. Staff are dedicated to meeting each child’s needs, noticing details about their day that stand out, and going out of their way to help each child in ways that are most helpful to them. We really like that updates of their days are regularly shared in the private Facebook group. We also love the fun experiences they get at Little Wellies, from going to the woods, a picnic in the park, toasting marshmallows, to playing in the sensory cabin, and lots of general messy play! Our boys are well-loved at nursery and it is so lovely to see their bonds forming with both staff and other children. All staff have been outstanding!”

“Little Wellies Nursery is an amazing place for children to play, learn and have fun. My two children have been going here for almost three years. They have learnt a lot and their confidence has grown massively. The staff and management are fantastic and have got to know my children very well. My children used to be very shy and would often get very upset leaving their parents (us) but the nursery has ensured they are welcomed each time they arrive and made them feel at ease. I especially like the outdoor facilities and the fact they get fresh air every day. The nursery are always exploring options to continuously improve in both facilities and learning, even taking the children on outdoor trips which my children have been very excited about. “My little boy started in January and for months, I was so anxious about him starting. I felt like I was doing the wrong thing by him being so young, felt guilty and really worried whether he’d be okay while there. After his first settling-in session, I knew I’d picked the right nursery. I wanted somewhere that looked after their kids just like their own and I can, hand on heart, say that each staff member, that has worked closely with my son, does just that! Every day when I drop him off, he’s the happiest most excited boy ever to see all staff members, whether they work with him in his room or downstairs rooms! He’s always so happy to see them. My son is thriving under their care. He’s now crawling, talking, waving, clapping, pointing, independently playing and playing with others and he’s only just gone 9 months old! I’ve never felt happier knowing my son is being looked after by lots of aunties who he cares for so dearly and vice versa. Huge thanks and hugs to staff in raindrop room upstairs!”

“Our son has recently moved up from the toddler to pre-school room and although he initially missed the staff from his old room (whom he loved!), the staff in Sunbeams have helped him settle in. We're really impressed with the range of activities Little Wellies offers, including forest school sessions, vegetable growing and bike classes as well as the usual arts, crafts and other activities most nurseries offer. They really go above and beyond to offer the children opportunities they might not get elsewhere and take them outside the setting. I also really appreciated their flexible approach earlier this year when I had to change our son's regular day due to recurrent hospital appointments.”

"My little boy started at Little Wellies Day Nursery two months ago in the baby room. As a first time mum this was my biggest worry as he’d spent every day with me and struggled and resisted going to people he’d never met but that was not the case at Little Wellies, my little boy settled in straight away and I have never left him crying or walked into him crying. He has come on so much in two months and I thank the girls that look after him for that as they are always interacting with the babies. They go on fun trips out. Speaking on the full nursery, the environment is always so lovely, to walk into children so happy and content because that’s all we want for our children. I couldn’t of imagined sending my little boy anywhere else and I am so glad we decided on Little Wellies. Management of the nursery are so helpful too! I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough! "My little one initially struggled to settle but all the nursery staff made me feel at ease and I was allowed to call and check on her without it feeling like I was a burden. Any parent will know that when they leave their child upset they need that reassurance that all is ok or else you can't function in your job as their upset is at the forefront of your mind. My daughter settled eventually but still has the odd day, but the staff know exactly how to be with her and she adores all of them. The nursery is spoken about a lot in our house as she is extremely happy there. Management are easily approachable, friendly and supportive. Activities are always well thought about and my little one gets excited to do something new. She has many friends and attending Little Wellies has bought out her confidence, speech, manners and how to interact well with others."
