Staff at Little Wellies are well-qualified, experienced and highly–trained. Each room has a Room Leader and another three – five staff, depending on the size of the room. Staff regularly update their Continual Professional Development and follow all regulations and guidelines. We have very low staff turnover and several members of staff have been with us since we first opened six years ago. All staff are trained in child protection and safeguarding and know how to provide the very highest standards of care. Every member of staff at Little Wellies undergoes a two day training course in Paediatric First Aid and this is regularly updated.
All children have their own “Key Worker.” This person becomes very special to the child and the family and quickly becomes a trusted first contact within the nursery. She/he is the main person responsible
for your child’s Key Worker well. However, at Little Wellies, we pride ourselves on the fact that all adults in each room know all of the children and their families well and will have a great deal of input on your child.
